On this page, you will see research findings of what can be Third Cinema practices today. In other words, how can media-making and viewing practice exist outside the first (Hollywood) and the second (European/global art cinema) cinemas today? The focus is on the alternative distribution (and some production) models. Researches are conducted by the graduated students in “Third Cinema” course in 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022 at the MFA in Integrated Media Arts program @ Hunter College, City University of New York.
